§ 4-10-512. Smoking prohibited—Park and recreational facilities.

  • Smoking is prohibited and is unlawful in or at any park and recreational facility, except at such specific locations as may be established and designated by the City Manager in his or her discretion. Any such established and designated smoking areas shall be clearly identified and described by the posting and placement of appropriate, conspicuous signs. Nothing in this section is intended to or shall be construed to preempt or otherwise limit the provisions of California Health and Safety Code § 104495 relating to playgrounds and tot lot sandbox areas.
